COMMUNITY OUTREACH
CARE CHANNEL:
Every month we collect various nonperishable food items to donate to the Jacksonville Care Channel. It is a local food bank and store for those in need
and who qualify in the area. We have volunteers that give of their valuable time to this wonderful community outreach.
Month of December: 175 Boxes of Instant Potatoes
We reached and surpassed our goal! Thank you to everyone that gave in this
big collection for the families in need in the Jacksonville area. They will be so greatful for the Christmas food boxes that these collected potatoes will be a part of this year. God Bless Everyone of You!
FISH NET MISSIONS:
The Fishnet is another local community outreach in Jacksonville - The Mission Kitchen at 1700 Swift Drive, Jacksonville serves an evening meal on Tuesday's: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. doors close at 6:00 p.m. Meal served at 6:00 p.m.
An optional devotional service will follow for about thirty minutes. We also collect Paper and Plastic bags for them to use when they distribute food. www.myfishnetmissions.org
